ABOUT DALE
Actor/producer Dale Godboldo has been working both in front of and behind the camera for over 25 years, and currently plays ‘Dream Team’ attorney Carl E. Douglas on Ryan Murphy’s highly anticipated FX television series, “American Crime Story: The People V. OJ Simpson.” => The Wrap (EXCLUSIVE)
After completing four seasons on the 90’s “All New Mickey Mouse Club” (alongside Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Keri Russell), Dale continued his acting career appearing in a dozen films including Marvel’s “Thor,“ “The Sum of All Fears,“ “Fame,“ the Will Smith produced “Lakeview Terrace,“ and the Brad Pitt produced “Year of the Dog.“ Dale has also appeared in over 130 episodes of television, with guest star roles on “ER,” “Bones,“ and Disney’s hit show “Good Luck Charlie,“ and series regular roles opposite Jenny McCarthy on NBC’s “Jenny,“ opposite Kristin Chenoweth on NBC’s “Kristin,“ and 2 seasons opposite Wanda Sykes and Jurnee Smolette on FOX’s “Wanda At Large.“
As an entrepreneur, Dale has been responsible for structuring millions in entertainment related projects, events, and distribution agreements with SONY, Arista, Lionsgate, Warner Brothers, The Billboard Awards, and Clearchannel.
As COO of Global Renaissance Entertainment Group, which is joint ventured with the principals of the $2B investment firm Cherokee Investment Partners, Dale is currently Executive Producing the “FLYY GIRL” trilogy of films with Lionsgate/Codeblack (Starring Sanaa Lathan, penned by the Oscar-winning writer of “Precious,” Geoffrey Fletcher, and Produced by Dear White People’s Effie Brown), and Producing “SUPERSTITION: FINAL CHANCE“ with the creator of the hugely successful “Final Destination” movie franchise.
Dale also owns a record label that released Tony Lucca’s (NBC’s “The Voice”) album “Shotgun” via Warner Elektra Atlantic (supported by Kevin Costner, Ryan Seacrest, JC Chasez, and Justin Timberlake). Dale operates his businesses under the brand, Dale Godboldo Enterprises.
PHILANTHROPY
Looking for ways to help the next generation reach their dreams, Dale formed the aptly named Always In The Club Foundation in appreciation of the training and mentorship he received as a young man on the Mouse Club. Dale has worked closely in developing programs with US Dream Academy, Arthur Wylie Foundation, Branson Centre Of Entrepreneurship, and Cherokee Gives Back. As part of the Philanthropy United team, Dale has fundraised for Unite4:Humanity and other events with Bill Clinton, Robert DeNiro, James Cameron, Martin Scorsese, Eva Longoria, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Sean Penn, Jada Pinkett Smith, Charlize Theron, and Halle Berry, among others.
Always In The Club recently became a member of the Clinton Global Initiative and announced Project:NOW, a non-profit initiative that rapidly addresses the educational needs of at-risk youth in America. Its first fundraiser was held in New York with George W. Bush on September 24, 2014. The evening was hosted by “The Good Wife’s” Chris Noth.
Dale is currently a founding member of CGI LEAD alongside Chelsea Clinton and other accomplished young industry professionals, who are committed to the work of Clinton Global Initiative and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Other charitable activities have included fundraising for Kids In The Spotlight, volunteering for anti-bullying organization, Stand For The Silent, and serving as a judge for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition, where millions of dollars in scholarships have been raised to send outstanding young ladies to college.
Dale has been honored by the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals for his work in the community, is a founding board advisor for the official Jamaica Film Festival, and is a lifelong member of Jack and Jill of America.
