Project:NOW co-founder, Dale Godboldo, with Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

PN_Partners ALL.001

I am proud to announce that I made a Commitment to Action at the 10th Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting called Project:NOW (PN), a non-profit initiative co-founded with the brilliant David Garner and Angelique Sheppard, that stresses urgency in addressing the educational needs of at-risk youth in America. To help raise funding, we held the Inaugural Legacy Project Dinner on Wednesday, September 24, 2014,  honoring President George W. Bush. The evening was hosted by “The Good Wife’s” Chris Noth… aka ‘Mr. Big.’ Thanks Chris!

We also honored Bush for his commitment to youth in education over the years. Derrell Frazier, a young man that directly benefitted from Bush’s programs to help children of incarcerated parents, is now studying to be an attorney! We’re so proud of Derrell and our partner US Dream Academy, of which Derrell was a student.

The evening also featured an address from Dr. Joyce Banda, former president of Malawi, and was sponsored by Amway, IBOA, and Unite4:Good. Thanks so much!!

Project:NOW was formed by our non-profit, Always In The Club Foundation, in partnership with US Dream Academy, Cherokee Gives Back, Arthur Wylie Foundation, and PVBLIC Foundation. Its mission is to help at-risk youth compete in a modern, global economy. PN will leverage its partners’ core competencies, existing infrastructures, and years of on-hand experience to accelerate their activities – uniquely, and relentlessly, stressing the urgency of NOW. Programs include innovative literacy interventions and intensive entrepreneurship training courses that help create leaders in underserved communities. PN is also developing leading-edge funding strategies, including public/private partnerships that utilize Social Impact Bonds to scale success.  These organizations have years of on-hand experience and infrastructures that will help us make a real difference in the lives of so many young people. Thanks for teaming up with us guys!

I’m excited to be working with CGI and all of our partners to launch what we believe will help change the way we as a country respond to young people most in need of help. I’m so thankful and honored that President Bush, who has been at the forefront of bringing these issues to a national platform, participated in our first event – a testament to his ongoing commitment to supporting our youth.

And a very special thank you to the Executive Producer of the Inaugural Legacy Project Dinner – Ryan Hampton, and Producer Billie Mitchell. Outstanding work!

CGI Commitment Seal 2014

The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) convenes leaders to turn ideas into action.    CGI Commitments to Action represent bold new ways that CGI members address global challenges—implemented through new methods of partnership and designed to maximize impact. Commitments can be small or large, global or local. No matter the size or scope, commitments help CGI members translate practical goals into meaningful and measurable results.

About the Clinton Global Initiative

Established in 2005 by President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), an initiative of the Clinton Foundation, convenes global leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. CGI Annual Meetings have brought together more than 180 heads of state, 20 Nobel Prize laureates, and hundreds of leading CEOs, heads of foundations and NGOs, major philanthropists, and members of the media. To date, members of the CGI community have made more than 3,100 Commitments to Action, which are already improving the lives of more than 430 million people in over 180 countries.

Through private donations, corporate partnerships, and innovative cause related marketing techniques, Always In The Club Foundation will provide funding to charities that promote youth in education, entrepreneurship, and the arts.

LOS ANGELES, June 3, 2014 – Veteran actor/producer and entrepreneur, Dale Godboldo, announced today the formation of Always In The Club Foundation (AITCF). Fiscally sponsored by US Dream Academy (www.USDreamAcademy.org), AITCF is a non-profit that provides funding to charities committed to supporting youth in education, the development of entrepreneurial skills, and training in the arts.

In recognizing that a well-balanced life includes healthy relationships and financial stability, AITCF is devoted to doing its part to prepare young people for the challenges that lie ahead of them. AITCF will work with charities that promote the importance of arts training in the development of children’s emotional and mental strength. AITCF will also work with non-profits committed to education and arming young people with entrepreneurial skills necessary to survive in a rapidly evolving society.

Unique to AITCF’s approach, is its focus on partnering outstanding charities with investors, for-profit companies, educational institutions, and celebrities, to develop revenue-generating projects that will assist those charities in their work. AITCF is also creating an endowment that will provide scholarships, funding for mentorship programs, and assistance in building facilities for training.

AITCF’s mission was inspired by Godboldo’s time as a cast member of the 90’s All New Mickey Mouse Club, where there was sustained, institutional support for the development of skills that are necessary for long-term success in business, and in life.

“The Mouse Club was as much a performing arts high school and business academy, as it was a television series,” states Godboldo. “The structure, support and training we received served as an important foundation for many of us, and why I am passionate about giving young artists and budding entrepreneurs similar opportunities.”

AITCF’s activities will include the creation of partnerships between its affiliate charities, A-list celebrities, and large and small corporations, to implement innovative cause related marketing (CRM) techniques that intentionally, and effectively, leverage fame for the cause of philanthropy and entrepreneurship.

AITCF’s CRM techniques were first developed during Godboldo’s work with the team responsible for 2014’s Oscars Week fundraisers ‘Unite4:Humanity’ and ‘Fame And Philanthropy.’ The events separately featured keynote speakers James Cameron and President Bill Clinton, and raised several million dollars for charity.  Honorees and special guests included Robert DeNiro, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Selena Gomez, Sean Penn, Alicia Keys, Julia Louise-Dreyfuss, Eva Longoria, Forest Whitaker, and John Sykes (President, Clearchannel), among others. There were also over 50 media outlets, corporations, and brands that partnered with these events in marketing and donations.

Fame and Philanthropy’s team will produce AITCF’s first red carpet fundraiser and launch party on June 28, 2014. The event will feature a runway fashion show sponsored by the premier boutique retailer in downtown Los Angeles, Brigade LA (www.BrigadeLA.com). AITCF is also developing multi-media projects, where revenues will be shared with charities committed to developing young people’s skills in the arts, and in business.
